best advice I can give you is to use different brush strokes also I don't know if you know this or not but when you zoom in with a thin stroke lets say at 200 percent it gets thinner if you draw with the same stroke at 100 its thicker. To prove this theory there is a simple test you can do which I taught myself its first to zoom in at 200 percent draw same stroke hold down the shift key for a straight stroke as you draw and then do the same for a 100 percent. You will notice the difference. This comes in handy for very a very detailed brush piece

Smudge Guard for wacom tablets

Postby 0NighT0 » Wed Nov 07, 2007 9:33 am

Considering that there is a lot of talk going on about wacoms, i thought i would throw my 2 cents in. I have had my intuos 3 for quite some time now but havent been using it exclusively for one reason, my hand gets sweaty and starts sticking to the tablet surface. I picked up a smudgeguard about a month ago and now i can honestly say that i am getting more enjoyment out of my expensive tool. If any of you have the same problem as me i highly recommend you pick one or two of these up.

Check out their website : http://www.smudgeguard.com

these gloves are inexpensive andin my view a complete necessity! I am not trying to sell this product, but am giving some extremely good advice discovered by experience to my fellow animators. The company is based in the USA and i live in South Africa. I received my smudge guards 3 days after placing the order! Really worth it for all of you wacom users out there.
